**Job Summary**:
Responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, field trips, and other activities while maintaining a safe and orderly environment on the bus. The school bus driver ensures compliance with traffic laws and school policies and serves as a positive role model for students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a school bus in a safe and responsible manner along designated routes.
- Pick up and drop off students at designated locations on time.
- Perform pre
- and post-trip inspections of the bus, including checking fuel, oil, brakes, tires, and safety equipment.
- Adhere to traffic laws and school transportation policies.
- Maintain order and discipline on the bus, ensuring the safety of all passengers.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate authorities promptly.
- Ensure the bus interior and exterior are clean and well-maintained.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students.
- Assist students, especially young children or those with special needs, in boarding and exiting the bus.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, mileage, and other required documentation.
- Participate in safety training and regular evaluations as required by the school district or transportation department.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a school bus endorsement.
- Clean driving record and background check.
- Knowledge of traffic and safety regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with children, parents, and staff professionally.
- Good physical health to meet the demands of the job (e.g., operating the bus and assisting students).
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergencies.

**Work Environment**:

- Early morning and afternoon shifts, with occasional work for field trips or after-school activities.
- Driving in varying weather and traffic conditions.
- Exposure to noise and interactions with children of all age groups

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹18,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
