**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate buses along assigned routes according to a fixed schedule or as directed.
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit, boarding, and disembarking.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior and exterior.
- Provide assistance to passengers with special needs, as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and passenger count.
- Maintain professional and courteous behavior with all passengers and staff.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid [State/Country] Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience as a professional driver (preferred).
- Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance.

- Excellent driving and navigational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations.

**Working Conditions**:

- May require early morning, late evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate a large vehicle safely.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions during travel.
