**Role Overview**

We are seeking a passionate and proactive **Market Research Executive** to conduct on-ground research, collect market insights, and build relationships with stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem. This role involves extensive fieldwork, data collection, and reporting to help us refine our marketplace offerings and better serve our users.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Field Research**:

- Conduct market surveys to gather insights about agri-commodity trends, pricing, demand, and supply.
- Visit farms, mandis, aggregators, and B2B vendors to collect primary data.
- Analyze competitor activities and market conditions in different regions.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Interact with farmers, aggregators, and vendors to understand their challenges and requirements.
- Educate stakeholders about Oneroot’s offerings and collect feedback for improvement.
- **Data Collection & Analysis**:

- Collect, organize, and present market data using tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
- Provide actionable insights to the business development and operations teams.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare detailed field reports and market analysis for management review.
- Suggest strategies to optimize Oneroot’s market presence based on field observations.
- **Travel**:

- Travel extensively to different agricultural regions as required.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
- **Skills and Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in field-based market research or sales (preferably in the agri/food industry).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data collection and basic data analysis.
- Ability to speak Kannada (preferred), Tamil, or other regional languages.
- **Personality Traits**:

- Passionate about agriculture and the rural economy.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Flexible with extensive travel and adaptable to dynamic work environments.
