To support the Team Leaders in their activities, identifying areas for self-development and proactively engaging in training where appropriate. To provide support to Front Office Dealing Operations. To comply with regulatory requirements associated with all activities **Key Work Level Accountabilities**: Accountable for delivering a quality service and product to customers and stakeholders Focuses on quality of delivery to achieve clear outputs within guidelines and precedent Runs the organization’s processes and systems following pre-defined procedures Adapts to change, responds with initiative and make suggestions for improvements to own work and processes **Key Responsibilities for this role**: To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in operational risk. Daily monitoring of data quality Responding to client/company queries Investigation and implementation of new funds/instruments Maintaining proper systems and controls to ensure integrity of Regulatory Reporting data. Ensuring that Group entities understand the reporting requirements relating to the assets managed. Ensure Statutory/Regulatory disclosures are provided to Companies & Regulatory bodies within designated timescales. Ensure daily transaction reporting is supplied to Regulatory bodies in a timely and accurate manner. Provision of holding information to relevant business areas to prevent breach of “Authorised Persons” limits. Assist and support in the provision of disclosure information to support MI & KPIs Continually monitor and improve, where necessary, the processes, controls and procedures associated with the function Assist in the implementation of appropriate systems, processes, controls and procedures resulting from Regulatory, Organisational and Strategic changes impacting the function. Utilise flexible working arrangements to allow team coverage over longer business hours. Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Educational Qualification **Knowledge and Skills**: A high level of literacy & numeracy and an extensive knowledge of MS Excel & Word is required/Advanced Excel skills, with ability to use VBA, with knowledge of SQL. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to liaise effectively with personnel at all levels. Knowledge of Investment Management activities would be an advantage. Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting for Transactional Reporting and/or Shareholder Reporting would be an advantage. Knowledge of the M&G Group structure or an equivalent Group structure would be an advantage. Strong understanding of instruments across the suite of asset classes in which invest (fixed income, securitised debt, public equity, ETD & OTC derivatives, leveraged loans, private debt, private equity) Knowledge of data required to support an investment book of record (i.e. securities, issuers, position, transaction, fund, benchmark, counterparty). Extensive knowledge of common data requirements across regulations. Proactive self-starter, with the ability to identify problems and follow them through to resolution. Pride in working to high standards in a dynamic environment Understanding of the investment management industry and the products that are offered. Excellent attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently to set deadlines. **Educational Qualification**: Degree level in Finance/ Mathematics/ Economics Relevant IOC or Investment Management qualification / Certification would be desirable Understanding of the regulatory landscape which a global Asset Manager operates in. Good working knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Aladdin.
