**Key Responsibilities**:
**We need a photographer with experience in event pre-planning, lighting assessment, and scene setup. They should be able to**:

- **Assess the Venue** - Check natural and artificial lighting, space constraints, and ideal camera angles.
- **Plan the Setup** - Suggest lighting adjustments, stage positioning, and backdrop designs.
- **Coordinate with the Tech Team** - Work with sound, lighting, and event coordinators to ensure optimal conditions.
- **Run Pre-Event Tests** - Do trial shots to finalize camera settings and correct any lighting issues before the event.
- Capture professional, high-resolution photographs of university events.
- Work closely with the marketing and media teams to document key moments.
- Edit and enhance photos for promotional use across digital and print media.
- Maintain and organize photography equipment and archives.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited images.
- Collaborate with university departments to fulfill specific photography needs.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event photography with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in photography equipment and editing software (**e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom**).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in photography, visual arts, or a related field.
- Experience in academic or corporate event photography.
