**Job Title**: Social Media Strategist
**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Social Media Strategy Development**: Develop, execute, and refine comprehensive social media strategies that align with overarching business and marketing goals. Ensure strategies are innovative, results-oriented, and tailored to the brand's target audience.
- **Campaign Planning & Execution**: Lead the planning, creation, and execution of cross-platform social media campaigns (organic and paid), ensuring that each campaign supports key business objectives such as lead generation, brand awareness, and customer loyalty.
- **Content Strategy & Oversight**: Collaborate with creative teams to craft compelling and engaging content across various social media channels. Ensure content is aligned with both the brand voice and audience preferences, while driving engagement and conversion.
- **Paid Social Media & Advertising Strategy**: Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, bidding strategies, and creative direction. Utilize A/B testing and performance data to refine and improve ad performance.
- **Team Leadership & Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments (content, design, public relations, and product teams) to ensure that social media initiatives are integrated across all marketing channels. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior social media team members.
- **Analytics & Reporting**: Monitor, measure, and analyze the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Facebook Insights). Use data to generate insights, optimize strategies, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
- **Trendspotting & Innovation**: Stay at the forefront of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and new tools. Continuously evaluate new opportunities to enhance brand presence and engagement, while ensuring the brand remains relevant in the digital landscape.
- **Community Engagement & Management**: Develop and manage strategies for fostering community engagement, including responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Build relationships with influencers, advocates, and brand partners to amplify social efforts.
- **Brand Reputation Management**: Oversee social media crisis management and reputation management, ensuring that the brand’s social presence remains positive and in alignment with company values during challenging moments.
- **Cross-Platform Strategy**: Create a unified social media strategy that works across various platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, etc.), leveraging each platform’s unique features to maximize reach and engagement.
**Key Skills & Experience**:
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in social media strategy development, with a proven record of leading successful social media campaigns that drive tangible business outcomes.
- **Strategic Thinking**: Expertise in developing and executing long-term, high-impact social media strategies that align with business goals. Ability to think creatively and strategically about using social media as a tool for brand growth.
- **Platform Expertise**: Deep understanding of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), including their algorithms, advertising opportunities, and content best practices.
- **Paid Media Expertise**: Strong experience in managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.), including budgeting, targeting, and creative testing to achieve maximum ROI.
- **Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making**: Strong proficiency in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) to track and measure the success of campaigns. Ability to analyze complex data and extract actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- **Leadership & Collaboration**: Demonstrated experience in leading social media teams, managing projects, and collaborating across various departments to execute multi-channel campaigns.
- **Creative Vision**: Ability to oversee the creation of engaging social content (images, videos, graphics) that resonates with the target audience while maintaining brand consistency.
- **Excellent Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and explain strategic ideas and performance data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with advanced social media management and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Expertise in influencer marketing and managing brand partnerships.
- Knowledge of SEO and how it integrates with social media strategies.
- Experience in managing global or multi-regional social media strategies.
- Familiarity with social listening tools and sentiment analysis
