SQL/Oracle Database Architect

Location: Delhi

Experience: 5-10 Years

Must-Have:
Experience in SQL or Oracle, OLTP, Data Warehousing workloads, and RDBMS.

JD:

- 5-10 years of direct hands-on DBA support for Oracle/SQL database.
- Experience working on an Application/ Development team or experience as an Application DBA.
- Hands-on operational DBA expertise in the areas of Replication, Log shipping, High Availability and Backup/Recovery.
- Responsible for developer SQL code review to ensure queries are optimized and tuned to perform efficiently prior to production release.
- Logging, managing, and resolving SR's with Oracle database system support.
- Experience in installing and configuration tools for database system.
- Estimate DBMS capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
- Lead efforts to develop and improve procedures for automated monitoring and proactive intervention, reducing any need downtime.
- Experienced in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances, and the migration from one environment to another.
- Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases.
- Responsible for regular maintenance on databases (e.g., Vacuum, Reindexing, Archiving).
- Managing tablespaces, data files, and other databases objects like indexes, functions, triggers, views, Users/Privileges/Roles and Password security, Databases/Schemas refresh using Export & Import utilities.
- Oracle RDBMS experience required.
- Comprehensive skills in database architecture, Installation & configuration, logical and physical design, automation, documentation, installs, shell scripting, catalogue navigation, query tuning, system tuning, resource contention analysis, backup and recovery, standby, replication, etc.
- Extensive experience in handling transaction processing (OLTP), data warehousing (DW) and mixed (OLTP & DW) database workloads
- Strong understanding of command line and server administration

**Salary**: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- DBA: 5 years (required)
- SQL/Oracle: 5 years (preferred)
- OLTP: 3 years (preferred)
