**Job Title**: Finance Controller - Resort

**Location**: Candolim, Goa
**Department**: Finance & Accounts
**Reports To**: General Manager / Group CFO
**Type**: Full-Time
**Experience**: 7-10 years in hospitality finance (Resort/Hotel industry preferred)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), and Revenue Recognition
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reports
- Monitor daily operations and cash flows of the resort to ensure healthy liquidity
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts across departments
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost optimization
- Ensure statutory compliance related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and local regulations
- **Oversee all regulatory compliance requirements and ensure timely renewals and maintenance of mandatory licenses** such as:

- FSSAI (Food Safety)
- Liquor/Excise License
- Shops & Establishment Act
- Pollution Control Board clearance
- Fire & Safety compliance
- Labour Law registrations and filings
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and legal consultants for all compliance matters
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness and proper documentation
- Manage payroll, vendor payments, and inventory valuation in coordination with respective departments
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies
- Support the General Manager and senior leadership with financial analysis and strategic insights
- Supervise and train the finance and accounts team, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution
- Oversee procurement approvals and monitor F&B cost ratios, cost of goods sold, and department-wise profitability

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s or MBA preferred)
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification preferred
- Proven experience as a Finance Controller or Finance Manager in a resort or hotel setting
- In-depth understanding of statutory compliance, audits, and licensing in the hospitality sector
- Familiarity with hospitality accounting and ERP systems (e.g., IDS, Opera, SAP, Tally)
- Strong knowledge of key hospitality KPIs such as RevPAR, GOP, ADR, and occupancy metrics
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach to risk management and cost efficiency

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
