now. But still each month when we look at Mindseed, it's a new beast with a new set of problems and
opportunities. To tackle these we have radically changed how our business operates. We have rethought
everything including the product, the school setup, the marketing and even recruitment, as you will soon find
out. Nothing is written in stone and change is the only constant at Mindseed. While we have grown over the
years, we have worked to keep the startup spirit alive through the pace of growth, change and innovation.
This has held us in good stead even in the pandemic that has shaken up the world, but especially the education
sector.
Emerging from the ashes of the pandemic, the plan is to accelerate the pace a few more notches - get bigger,
better but faster Schools and preschool are only the start; we will use our centers as beachheads to give us a
local presence and work to unlock peoples learning potentials through a variety of products and technologies
which we are developing. Our sights are set on having 100,000 learners on the books by 2030.
We are looking for passionate people to work with us as Daycare Teachers.
The primary role of the Day Care Teacher will be to develop and manage the Day Care program to ensure a
safe, stimulating environment for children. The Day Care Teacher may develop academically and physically
invigorating daily programs, recruit and supervise Day Care Staff, and manage the administration of the Day
Care program. The Day Care Teacher will play a major role in supervising and leading the children through their
daily activities. She will also report to the principal of the school, regarding particular issues.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervising Children in the Day Care (Crucial)
Supervise children throughout the day including: personal hygiene, activities, clothing, eating(and
finishing food).
Provide opportunities for various activities including resting time
Implement positive discipline when needed
Creating and Implementing Daily Programs
Plan activities that will meet the social, academic, and physical needs of children
Provide appropriate equipment such as toys and beds
Develop a meal/snack plan depending on the center.
Managing the Administration of the Program
Reporting to the principal of the school regarding parent complaints, enquiries, handling fees,etc.
Keep parents informed of children’s progress orsetbacks.
Create confidential student files.
Monitor the Day Care budget.
Develop statistics regarding the number of kids, cost of operation, etc.
To do this, all we need are people with the following attributes:
Child safety/ development practices
Procedures to ensure children are safe at all times
Children activities, etc
Previous experience of handling children
Problem solving
Decision making
Tons and Tons of Love for Kids
Energetic; it can be back breaking work running after the little ones.
Willingness to Learn; we are doing revolutionary stuff,so learning needs to be constant.
