**Duties and Responsibilities of a Retail Salesperson**

**1. Greeting and Assisting Customers**
- Welcome customers as they enter the store.
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate assistance.
- Guide customers through product selections and purchasing decisions.

**2. Product Knowledge and Promotion**
- Maintain thorough knowledge of store products, brands, and promotions.
- Educate customers on features, uses, and benefits of products.
- Demonstrate products when necessary.

**3. Sales and Upselling**
- Recommend additional or alternative items to increase sales.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Close sales and encourage customer loyalty.

**4. Customer Service**
- Handle inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and promptly.
- Provide information on store policies, warranties, and services.
- Follow up on customer orders or special requests.

**5. Merchandising and Inventory**
- Organize shelves, displays, and promotional materials.
- Monitor stock levels and report low or out-of-stock items.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and tagging new inventory.

**6. Operating the Point of Sale (POS) System**
- Accurately scan items and process transactions.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments securely.
- Issue receipts and manage returns/refunds as needed.

**7. Store Maintenance**
- Keep the sales floor clean, tidy, and safe.
- Maintain fitting rooms, display areas, and counters.
- Assist in store opening and closing procedures.

**8. Teamwork and Communication**
- Coordinate with colleagues to meet customer needs and store goals.
- Communicate product or customer feedback to supervisors.
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Compensation Package:
