Job Title: Call Center Agent
Location: Multiple Locations
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Call Center Agent to join our Radiology Chain in multiple locations. As a Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule appointments for radiology services based on patient needs and availability
- Provide patients with accurate and detailed information regarding their appointments, including preparation instructions, location details, and billing information
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for patients
- Collect payments and issue receipts for services rendered
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Radiology Chain
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or call center role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, as needed
