We are seeking an experienced Product owner. The selected individual will play a crucial role in executing the product vision, collaborating with cross-functional international teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet Client Requirements. This individual is responsible for bridging the gap between the business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product meets the needs of both the users and the organization.

Experience - 5 - 7 years

Work Location - Mohali (onsite)

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
1. **Product Vision and Strategy**:

- Develop and communicate the product vision to the development team and stakeholders.
- Define the product roadmap and strategy, aligning it with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

**2. Track project progress & backlog management**:

- Ability to track project progress and hurdles.
- Create and maintain the product backlog, which is a prioritized list of features, enhancements, and fixes.
- Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer feedback, and other relevant factors.
- Ensure that the backlog is refined, groomed, and ready for the development team to work on during sprint planning.

**3. Requirements Gathering and Analysis**:

- Ability to work with sales team for documentation proposals and SOWs
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders, customers, and users.
- Define user stories or other requirements artifacts that detail the functionality and acceptance criteria for each feature.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development team members to ensure a shared understanding of the requirements.

**4. Stakeholder Management**:

- Act as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders.
- Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into the product backlog as appropriate.
- Manage stakeholder expectations regarding product scope, schedule, and quality.

**5. Sprint Planning and Execution**:

- Participate in sprint planning meetings to prioritize backlog items for the upcoming sprint.
- Clarify user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team during sprint planning and throughout the sprint.
- Work closely with the development team during the sprint to answer questions, provide clarification, and make decisions as needed.

**6. Acceptance and Validation**:

- Accept or reject completed user stories based on the agreed-upon acceptance criteria.
- Validate that the delivered features meet the needs and expectations of the stakeholders and end-users.
- Provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.

7. **Continuous Improvement**:

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the development team and the organization.
- Reflect on the team's performance and processes at the end of each sprint, identifying areas for improvement.
- Incorporate lessons learned from each sprint into future planning and execution.

**8. Domain Knowledge and Market Analysis**:

- Develop a deep understanding of the product domain, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry best practices, and customer preferences that may impact the product.
- Use market analysis and feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize features accordingly.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, and experience working with agile teams.
- Must have good exposure on different domains.
- Strong intercultural skills and experienced in working with US/UK/EU based Clients.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within scope.
- Solid business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, data analysis, and process mapping.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven insights.
- Experience with market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions are highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional certifications such as CSM or Certified Scrum Business Analyst (CSPO) is big plus.
