**Position Title**: Fundraising Expert

**Location**: Mumbai

**Job Purpose**:
The Resource Mobilization Specialist is responsible for securing the financial and in-kind resources necessary to sustain and scale Akshar Foundation’s mission of transforming education for underprivileged children. By leveraging innovative fundraising strategies, building strategic partnerships, and engaging communities, this role ensures the Foundation can deliver its programs—such as tablet-based learning, vocational training, and sustainable school ecosystems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Fundraising Strategy Development**:Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan aligned with Akshar’s goals, targeting ₹200 crore over five years.

Identify diverse revenue streams, including individual donors, corporate CSR, government grants, and international funding agencies.

2. **Donor Relationship Management**:Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, philanthropists, and corporate partners passionate about education and sustainability. Develop compelling pitches and proposals showcasing Akshar’s impact.

**4. Crowdfunding and Community Campaigns**:Launch and manage crowdfunding campaigns to support specific initiatives. Engage local communities to contribute resources in line with Akshar’s sustainability ethos.

5. **Partnership Development**:Build strategic alliances with corporates, educational institutions, and government agencies to secure funding and in-kind support.

6. **Impact Communication**:Work with the communications team to create donor reports, success stories, and marketing materials highlighting Akshar’s outcomes. Represent Akshar at fundraising events, conferences, and community forums.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, social sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience: Experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or sales, ideally in education or social impact sectors.
