Procurement & Supply Chain Intern

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated **Procurement and Supply Chain Intern** to join our team and assist in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management for our subscription boxes. This role will involve working closely with suppliers and partners to optimize cost, ensure timely delivery, and design box configurations that align with market demand. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in procurement, vendor management, logistics, and data analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing and Vendor Management**:

- Assist in identifying and onboarding reliable suppliers and vendors for product components used in subscription boxes for healthcare products
- Support in negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and lead times with vendors to maximize profitability.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure consistency in product quality and availability.
- **Inventory and Supply Chain Optimization**:

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock for subscription fulfillment.
- Help manage the logistics of product delivery, tracking shipping schedules, and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of subscription boxes.
- Analyze procurement and supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- **Cost Optimization and Profitability**:

- Assist in evaluating product and packaging costs to design subscription boxes that meet both market demand and profitability targets.
- Participate in discussions on cost-reduction strategies while maintaining product quality.
- **Market Analysis and Demand Forecasting**:

- Support the team in analyzing market trends and customer preferences to ensure that products included in the subscription boxes meet consumer demand.
- Assist in demand forecasting to optimize stock levels and avoid under or over-procurement.
- **Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams**:

- Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
- Collaborate on packaging design, ensuring that subscription boxes are visually appealing, functional, and cost-effective.
- **Data Management and Reporting**:

- Collect and organize procurement and inventory data to generate regular reports for management.
- Track key metrics, including delivery times, supplier performance, cost analysis, and inventory levels.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, Business, or related fields.
- **Skills**:

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain software or ERP systems is a plus.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
