**Job Overview**

The Distribution Manager will oversee and optimize the entire distribution process, ensuring that products are stored, shipped, and delivered efficiently. The role is critical in managing relationships with logistics partners, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery to customers and retailers. The Distribution Manager will also collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to meet demand forecasts and customer service objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Logistics and Supply Chain Management**:

- Manage and optimize the transportation of goods from manufacturing sites to distribution centers and retail locations.
- Develop and implement strategies for cost-effective and efficient distribution.

**Warehouse and Inventory Oversight**:

- Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and proper stock levels.
- Implement systems for tracking goods from arrival to dispatch, ensuring real-time inventory accuracy.

**Relationship Management**:

- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers, freight companies, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

**Performance Monitoring & Reporting**:

- Develop KPIs for distribution performance, including delivery times, cost efficiencies, and inventory accuracy.
- Regularly analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments.

**Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and transportation laws.
- Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions in the supply chain or delivery process.

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead and manage a team of warehouse and logistics staff.
- Provide training, development, and performance feedback to ensure a high-functioning distribution team.

**Cost Management**:

- Develop and manage the distribution budget, seeking ways to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
- Negotiate contracts with logistics providers to ensure competitive rates.

**Customer Service**:

- Collaborate with the customer service team to handle complaints or issues related to shipping and delivery.
- Ensure that customer expectations regarding delivery times and product quality are met.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in distribution or logistics management, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Proven experience with warehouse management and inventory control systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in team management and leadership.

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
