Job Title: Purchase Executive
Experience Level: 1-3 years
**Salary**: 3 Lakhs per annum
Education: Any graduate
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Vendor Management**: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.
- **Purchase Order Processing**: Generate purchase orders, review purchase requisitions, and ensure accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers while maintaining quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and initiate replenishment orders to avoid stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- **Supplier Performance Evaluation**: Assess supplier performance based on factors such as delivery time, quality of products, and adherence to contractual agreements.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and correspondence with vendors in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- **Cost Analysis**: Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative suppliers or products when necessary.
- **Coordination**: Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, logistics, and operations to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with organizational goals and requirements.
- **Compliance**: Stay updated on relevant regulations, import/export requirements, and industry trends to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in procurement practices.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify areas for process improvement, propose solutions, and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the purchasing function.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
