**Your day at NTT DATA**

The Associate Paralegal is an entry level role, responsible for working under the supervision of a more senior member the legal team, and provides Legal support to deliver basic technical, operational or administrative services of a legal nature in one or more functional areas or legal disciplines.

This role requires a basic working knowledge of related laws and best practices and works on legal assignments that are routine in nature and within clearly defined parameters.

**What you'll be doing**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provides basic legal support to business and/or operations on vanilla engagements and transactions, under the supervision of a more senior member of his/her legal team.
- Reviews and provides general advice on simple standard agreements such as confidentiality agreements and intercompany agreements or simple legal issues.
- May make minor customizations to legal terms and conditions in simple standard agreements.
- May support a Legal Adviser or Legal Manager on legal engagements and transactions.
- Administers programs and procedures to administer legal policies or help Senior Legal Advisers/Managers to do so.
- Prepares legal reports on the status of legal matters based on detailed instructions and templates.
- Performs such legal or semi-legal work as may be assigned and supervised by senior member(s) of his/her legal team.
- Drafting of resolutions.
- Updating Corporate Secretarial Records.
- Co-ordinating with Vendors and Consultants.

**Knowledge and Attributes**:

- Possesses or in process of acquiring legal support qualifications or has good, related practice or operations knowledge and experience.
- Developing experienced in performing a paralegal's duties or other like roles.
- Developing experience helping to administer one or more operational policies or programs.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in high-pressure situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb attention to detail; good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proactive approach to work and willingness to learn.
- Strong research abilities.
- Good teamwork and collaboration abilities.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma or other relevant certifications or qualifications in legal studies or related fields.

**Required Experience**:

- Developing level of experience working in similar role gained within a similar environment.
