**Research Associate - Public Policy and Governance**

Areness Foundation has been working with the primary focus of conducting research; reviewing and analysing government policies; evaluating existing or proposed legislation; and presenting our findings and suggestions to fill the gaps. We are also engaged in conducting research in diverse areas of national and international importance. Areness Foundation with its innovation approach tries to make a perfect blend of research with action. We materialize our research by sending representation to concerned departments, taking legal actions when required, participating in public comments and maintaining continues dialogue with general public by conducting outreach camps and campaigns

**Job Role**: Research Associate - Public Policy and Governance

**Mode**:Work from office/hybrid. Field visits, if required

Areness Foundation is looking for a research professional in their Public Policy and Governance department. The incumbent will ensure delivery of error-free and insightful research projects within our practice area.

RESEARCH: Conducting in-depth research to gather, analyse and present on key issues ranging from public policy, governance, law, economy, human rights, environment, climate change and other area of current relevance.

BRAINSTORMING: New ideas to work on and ways to increase the public reach of the foundation.

COMMUNICATE with stakeholders, when needed, to understand their needs and requirements.

SURVEYS AND VISITS: Conducting surveys and visits to Public/ Private offices for empirical research.

**Requirements and skills**
- Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Acumen for crisp and error free writing
- Strong analytical skills
- Immediate joiners preferred

**Salary**: From ₹15,000.00 per month
