The role will provide support to the leads providing Technology and Cyber Risk and Controls advisory & oversight services to Markets Pre & Post Trade Technology, and support global Direct CBPs on relevant controls initiatives.

This involves supporting the Cross Functional Lead on risk reviews, oversight on control issues and risk events, risk based issue closure review, interpretation of technology standards and educating stakeholders on relevant policies and standards

**What will you be doing?**
- Support CBP Oversight and Advisory (AO) leads in Technology/Cyber security risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation, response and risk reporting across BI Markets transaction cycles (Pre-trade and Post-trade) to operate within risk appetite and in compliance with Barclays Control Framework
- Develop and implement skills around Barclays Control Framework (BCF), Technology/Cyber risk management standards
- Support the leads to undertake risk and control assessments by arranging appropriate data / reports to perform assessments and support in preparing assessment reports
- Support Tech/Cyber CBPs to ensure continuity of risk governance around Issues/Actions/Risk events and any risk remediation projects
- Participate in regular meetings with AO leads and Global CBP to understand the risk governance process and support requirements
- Assist AO leads in tracking of Technology/Cyber Issues/ Actions and maintain status update in system of record (ORAC)
- Support AO leads in performing Action Closure Pack and Issue Closure Pack review ensuring risk has appropriately mitigated
- Support CBP AO leads in establishing and maintaining an effective risk culture

**What we’re looking for**:

- Knowledge of technology risk and controls including relevant tools and techniques
- Proven experience (more than 4 yrs) in Technology/Cyber risk assessments, IT / IT Security audits, Technology Risk and Control, IT/Cyber Security, Technology Assurance Testing
- Experience in assessing design and operating effectiveness of Technology and Cyber controls
- Strong value system - respect, integrity, service-focused and excellence towards achieving greater results

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Business/IT degree or equivalent
- Experience in leveraging IT risk frameworks/standards such as COBIT5, NIST, ISO 27001/2
- knowledge of information technology risks, controls and risk remediation and experience
- Specialist Risk Qualification - formal accreditation/qualifications relating to Technology/Cyber audit, risk and control e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM
