Responsibilities:
In a foundry, maintenance responsibilities are crucial to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and safety of personnel. Here’s a breakdown of key maintenance responsibilities:
1. **Routine Inspections**
- Regular checks on all equipment, including furnaces, molds, and casting machines.
- Monitoring for wear and tear, ensuring everything operates within safety parameters.

2. **Preventive Maintenance**
- Scheduling maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns, such as lubrication of moving parts and replacement of worn components.
- Regular cleaning of equipment to prevent contamination and buildup of materials.

3. **Repairs**
- Timely repair of any malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.
- Keeping a stock of critical spare parts to facilitate quick repairs.

4. **Calibration and Testing**
- Calibrating measuring instruments and sensors to ensure accuracy in casting processes.
- Performing tests on molds and other equipment to ensure quality and consistency.

5. **Safety Checks**
- Regularly inspecting safety equipment, including fire suppression systems and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

6. **Documentation**
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Maintaining logs of equipment performance and any incidents.

7. **Training and Development**
- Training staff on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Keeping the team updated on new technologies and best practices in foundry maintenance.

8. **Collaboration**
- Working closely with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Coordinating with external service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.

9. **Environmental Compliance**
- Ensuring that maintenance practices align with environmental regulations.
- Managing waste and emissions from foundry operations responsibly.

5 years or above of experience in same field

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
