- In this role, you will be working for the Australian Client (with their core business of Insurance & Banking) and meeting the statutory and regulatory requirements as per the Australian Geography requirements, you will work with customers/client in day to day operations and work on the preparation of financials statements and notes to accounts as per International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Work as SME for the 1st level of review work done by Recs and Close team. Your role will function as an overlay of existing domain experts and bring value through new thoughts/ways of doing work which can lead to operational efficiency._
- Responsibilities_
- _Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reporting
- Statutory and Regulatory_
- _Preparation of financial statements as per statutory guidelines and accounting standards like IFRS, US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards etc._
- _Preparation of files as per Regulatory guidelines (APRA submissions, FSL etc.)_
- _Review of Journals & Reconciliations performed by Ledger close team_
- _Working on tools like Oracle, TM1 and CDM._
- _All deliverables to be met at 100% SLA (both quality and timeliness)
- SLA Governance_
- _Ensure 100% compliance and deadlines [List of responsibilities]_
- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum Qualifications / Skills_
- _CA/CMA fresher_
- _MBA/Mcom with relevant experience_
- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_
- _Strong communication - Both Written and Vocal_
- _Strong analytical & Accounting skills_
- _Ability to prioritize effectively, be flexible as needs change_
- _Positive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement and an open mind to change_
- _High standard of integrity, strong self-confidence to state and support opinions_
- _High energy, strong influencing skills_
- _Ability to work on own initiative_
- _Effective working knowledge of IT incl. Use of, Word, Excel, Power point_
