**Role Summary & Role Description**

Individual will effectively support Control Assurance program and technology controls identification, drafting, and assessment programs as directed by senior management.

Minimum of 8 years of experience
- Support the evolution of first-line assurance standards and best-practices to enable a ‘single view of IT’
- Collaborate with a larger assessment team, executing and driving towards a common target
- Execute controls testing as part of larger assurance programs, raising observations for formal management review, and advising recommendations for improvement
- Engage key stakeholders including IT management, IT Risk Directors and supporting teams, and Corporate Audit to assemble evidence, discuss exceptions, and issues
- Support the review and reporting of technology risk and compliance information for measurement, analysis, and senior management communications, as directed
- Provide regular status updates and communicate supporting project management reports, as directed

**Core/Must have skills**

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Risk Management or a related field, or equivalent experience

Excellent written and spoken communication & collaboration skills

Assist with the collection of data to be used for management reporting and project initiatives

Motivated and team oriented individual who possesses the ability to work in an energizing environment while handling multiple tasks

**Good to have skills**

Aptitude for learning new and complex environments, processes, and technologies

Excellent written and spoken communication & collaboration skills

Professional designation a strong plus or desire to obtain in 1-2 years (eg. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC)

IT audit experience strongly preferred

Self-learning and training to ensure skills and knowledge are in line with responsibilities

Knowledge of IT frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, ITIL a plus
