**Job Summary**:
The Ready-mix Concrete Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of all plant equipment and machinery. The role requires troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime and maintain production quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Preventive Maintenance**: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on plant equipment, including mixers, conveyors, pumps, silos, batching systems, and other related machinery.

**2. Repairs**: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures in plant equipment to ensure continuous production.

**3. Equipment Monitoring**: Monitor and adjust the operation of plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency.

**4. Safety Compliance**: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Identify and report potential safety hazards.

**5. Inventory Management**: Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for routine maintenance and emergency repairs.

**6. Documentation**: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment status.

**7. Coordination**: Work closely with plant operators, production supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to plant operations.

**8. Emergency Response**: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and other emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours or on-call duties as required.

**9. Continuous Improvement**: Suggest and implement improvements to maintenance processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
