The center integrates special education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychological services, and life skills training under one roof.

**Position Overview**

The Principal is the academic and administrative head of the institution, responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and support staff. The role involves overseeing the academic curriculum, therapeutic interventions, student development, parent engagement, and operational management with a focus on individualized education plans (IEPs) and inclusive practices.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Leadership & Strategy**
- Develop and implement a strategic vision aligning with the mission of the institution.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment for staff, students, and families.
- Lead curriculum planning tailored to the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

2. **Academic and Therapeutic Coordination**
- Supervise special educators, therapists (speech, occupational, behavioral), and counselors.
- Ensure the development and execution of IEPs for each student.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.

3. **Staff Management and Development**
- Recruit, train, and appraise teaching and therapeutic staff.
- Promote ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.

4. **Parent and Community Engagement**
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians.
- Conduct regular meetings and workshops for families.
- Engage with local bodies, NGOs, and educational authorities for partnerships and outreach.

5. **Compliance and Administration**
- Ensure adherence to educational regulations, child protection policies, and safety standards.
- Maintain records and reports related to student performance, therapies, and staff evaluations.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field (mandatory).
- B.Ed. in Special Education (preferred).
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in special education or therapeutic settings, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders, inclusive practices, and therapeutic models.
