**Skills and Responsibilities**:

- Excellent understanding of network concepts such as on-premises switching and routing, as well as higher level services including load-balancing, web-proxies, and firewalling.
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP Stack, OSI model of computer networking, subnetting, super netting, Network Address Translations.
- Solid network knowledge of Layer 3 to Layer 7 technologies (IP / IPv6 / TCP / UDP / HTTP/ SSL)
- Good understanding of routing protocols - specifically BGP/OSPF routing protocols
- Azure, Google networking best design practice
- Ability to read and interpret packet capture analysis using standard tool sets.
- Hands-on experience with the following products and technologies-Azure Networking, VMWare, GCP and or AWS ; SDWAN, WAN, LAN;
- Familiarity DNS/NTP as well as content delivery (CDN) service providers considered an asset.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring the completeness of enterprise architecture.
- Must be comfortable deploying parts of recommended design and of problem resolution as it relates to the design
- In accordance with Architectural design, implement and deploy network Solution in on-prem as well as Azure other Cloud Service Provider (CSP) platform as is required by the business to support Avaya’s operational environment.
- Deploy and maintain SDWAN, WAN, LAN, as well as Cloud based Systems and services to include (but not limited to) Azure native solutions, AVS (Azure VMWare Services and third party NVA like Palo Alto firewalls, Versa SD-WAN, A10 load-balancers and other technologies as required.
- Troubleshooting and debugging of the Azure environment and how it cross-connects to On-premises data centers leverage multiple Telco connectivity.
- Manage Cloud solutions; SD-WAN NVA in the Cloud, WAN, LAN, WIFI
- Regular updating and processing of ITIL tickets in support of defined SLAs
