Purpose of the Job:

To receive and manage the delivery of goods into the warehouse, where they are sorted, stacked, stored, picked, and allocated to projects based on the BOM picklist. To maintain precise records of incoming receipts and issuance for all manufacturing and parts inventory.

- Education Requirement:_

A Bachelor's degree (BA / BCom / BSc) / Diploma with 4 to 7 years of experience in managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, conducting inventory audits, generating inventory reports, receiving and shipping goods, and familiarity with warehouse procedures such as packaging. Proficient in using ERP systems.

- Inventory Management: They are responsible for tracking, managing, and organizing inventory, ensuring accurate records of stock levels, and conducting regular inventory audits.
- Goods receipt note: Updating of all goods receipt into ERP system.
- Invoice handling: Receiving and acknowledging all invoices till handing over to Production planning engineer.
- Receiving and Shipping: Warehouse technicians handle the receipt of goods, ensuring that incoming shipments are accurate and undamaged. They also prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Equipment Operation: They operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stackers, to move, stack, or organize products and materials within the warehouse.
- Quality Control: They inspect products for damage or defects and ensure that all items meet quality standards before they are stored or shipped.
- Safety Compliance: Warehouse technicians follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. This includes proper handling of materials, safe operation of equipment, and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Documentation and Reporting: They maintain accurate records of inventory movements, receipts, shipments, and other warehouse activities, and report discrepancies or issues to supervisors.

Contact with Others:

Extensive communication is required within the department, involving the Production Planning Engineer, Production Engineer, and Operations Manager. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with other functions across the organization, including Quality Control, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Finance.

He will work as an individual contributor under the guidance of the Operations Manager and Production Planning Engineer.
