- Manage MySQL, SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.-
- Independently analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end- Write queries, procedures, views, cursors, unit test, data validation, versioning- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes- Expertise in complex query tuning and schema refinement- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours- Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members- Participates in root cause analysis for defects and provides process improvement suggestions to eliminate future occurrences of similar defects**Requirements**:

- Must have skills:
Expertise in MYSQL/SQL Server development and administration.

Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Experience in Index management and analysing execution plan.

Strong skills in writing optimized procedures, views and other database objects

Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases

Must be a fast learner and able to work independently and help colleauges

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Highly engaged and motivated and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment

Good to have skills:
Knowledge and/or experience on Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Datawarehouse, Azure Databricks.

MS Excel hands on experience

Basic Knowledge of Agile (Scrum) Project Team.
