As a Career Counselor - Caller Counseling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding students and helping them make informed decisions about their educational and career paths. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting counseling sessions via phone calls and virtual meetings to assist students in identifying their interests, strengths, and goals. You will need to provide valuable insights, resources, and advice to help them make well-informed decisions about their academic and career choices. Your success will be measured by your ability to effectively convert potential students into enrolling in relevant programs or services.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Caller Counseling**: Conduct phone-based counseling sessions with students seeking guidance on their educational and career choices.

**Virtual Meetings**: Schedule and conduct virtual meetings with students to delve deeper into their aspirations and provide personalized advice.

**Assessment**: Administer career assessments and personality tests to help students better understand their strengths and preferences.

**Information Dissemination**: Provide detailed information about academic programs, colleges, universities, scholarships, and career opportunities.

**Goal Setting**: Assist students in setting realistic academic and career goals and creating action plans to achieve them.

**Resource Recommendations**: Recommend relevant resources, such as books, websites, workshops, and online courses, to further students' knowledge and skills.

**Follow-Up**: Maintain records of counseling sessions and follow up with students to track their progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.

**Enrollment Conversion**: Effectively communicate the benefits of enrolling in specific programs or services and encourage interested students to take the next steps.

**Stay Informed**: Continuously update your knowledge about educational and career trends, emerging job markets, and opportunities.

**Feedback Collection**: Gather feedback from students to improve counseling services and adapt to their evolving needs.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience in career counseling, academic advising, or related roles.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and active listening abilities.

Empathy and the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of students.

Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and counseling software.

Knowledge of career assessment tools and resources.

Adept at goal setting and action planning.

Sales or persuasive communication skills to convert potential students.

Organizational and time-management skills.

Patience and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
