**Job Summary**:
The Utility Maintenance/Preventive Maintenance/Breakdown Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, equipment, and utilities. This role ensures that all machinery and utilities operate safely, reliably, and at peak performance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Utility Maintenance**:

- Monitor, operate, and maintain all utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air systems, boilers, water systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Ensure utility systems are functioning effectively and meeting production demands while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct inspections of utility systems to detect potential issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.

**2. Preventive Maintenance (PM)**:

- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all mechanical equipment, machinery, and utilities.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing of equipment to identify wear and tear, potential faults, and performance issues.
- Document and track preventive maintenance activities, recording findings, repairs, and maintenance schedules.

**3. Breakdown Maintenance**:

- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and utility system failures, troubleshooting and repairing issues to restore operations as quickly as possible.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Record details of each breakdown, including causes, repair steps, and preventative measures for future reference.

**4. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement**:

- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Suggest and implement enhancements to maintenance procedures, parts inventory management, and repair processes to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety teams to identify and eliminate process bottlenecks or hazards.

**5. Documentation & Compliance**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including service reports, repair logs, and safety inspections.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in audits and regulatory inspections, addressing any findings related to maintenance practices.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3+ years in maintenance or mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of utility systems, including HVAC, boilers, compressors, and other industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Work Environment**: Manufacturing or industrial setting, with occasional exposure to noise, heat, and other conditions typical of an industrial environment.

Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹27,500.00 per month
