**Job Description for Academic Principal**
**Position Title**: Academic Principal
**Department**: Academic Affairs
**Location**: Telangana (Hyderabad), Andhra Pradesh.
**Reports to**: Academic Dean or AGM.
**Position Overview**: The Academic Principal serves as the chief educational leader and administrative head of the campus. They are responsible for overseeing the academic, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring the institution provides a quality education that aligns with the institution’s goals, curriculum standards, and values. This role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment, supporting teachers and staff, promoting student achievement, and building relationships with parents and the community.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Leadership and Management**:
- Provide visionary leadership to the campus, driving continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement short
- and long-term academic goals and objectives.
- Oversee the daily operations of the campus, including discipline, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Build a collaborative culture among staff and maintain a professional and supportive work environment.
- **Academic Excellence**:
- Ensure that the curriculum is effectively delivered and aligned with national and state standards.
- Lead initiatives to enhance student academic performance and engagement.
- Monitor and assess academic programs, making data-driven decisions to improve instruction.
- Promote the use of innovative teaching methods, technology, and best practices.
- **Teacher Support and Development**:
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teachers and academic staff, providing regular feedback and opportunities for professional growth.
- Facilitate professional development and training programs for faculty.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through instructional coaching and collaborative planning.
- **Student Support and Development**:
- Ensure that all students receive a quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
- Oversee student assessment, progress monitoring, and interventions for struggling students.
- Promote positive behaviour, social-emotional learning, and the overall well-being of students.
- Lead and support extracurricular activities that enhance student engagement and personal development.
- **Community and Parent Engagement**:
- Build strong relationships with parents to foster collaboration and communication.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and other events to support student success.
- Serve as the key representative of the campus to stakeholders, including parents, community organizations, and other authorities.
- **Administrative and Operational Duties**:
- Develop and manage the campus budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new staff.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies.
- Manage campus facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for learning.
**Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of teaching and/or administrative experience, preferably at the intermediate or middle school level.
- Proven leadership and managerial experience within an educational setting.
- In-depth knowledge of curriculum development, instructional practices, and assessment strategies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of educators and support staff.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
