Position: Admission Counselor

Job Overview:
As an Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and assisting students in their pursuit of higher education in both abroad education and Indian education. You will primarily focus on admission counseling for various courses such as MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, B.Sc, M.Sc, Nursing, ANM, GNM, B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharma, and D.Pharma. Your responsibilities will include providing personalized guidance, supporting students throughout the admission process, and ensuring their smooth transition into their chosen educational programs.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide comprehensive counseling services to prospective students seeking admission in MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, B.Sc m.sC, Nursing, ANM, GNM, B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharma, and D.Pharma courses.
Conduct individual counseling sessions with students to understand their aspirations, interests, and educational background.
Assess students' academic qualifications, experiences, and eligibility criteria for different universities and courses.
Guide students in selecting suitable universities and courses based on their preferences, career goals, and budget considerations.
Provide accurate information about admission requirements, entrance exams, scholarships, and financial aid options.
Stay updated with the latest educational trends, admission policies, and immigration regulations related to study abroad programs.
Maintain a database of universities, courses, and admission procedures to provide up-to-date information to students.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partner universities, educational consultants, and relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with the marketing team to organize and participate in educational fairs, seminars, and workshops to promote GBET's services.
Follow up with students and provide ongoing support throughout the admission process, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while handling sensitive student information.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Counseling, or a related discipline). A Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience in admission counseling, preferably in the field of abroad education and Indian education.
In-depth knowledge of admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements for MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, BSc Nursing, ANM, GNM, B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharma, and D.Pharma courses.
Familiarity with different study destinations and their education systems, including renowned universities and their programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and their families.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Understanding of cultural diversity and sensitivity to the needs of international students.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in additional languages will be an advantage.
