**What's this role about?**

In this role, you will be responsible for running ETL projects. You will have to support engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution.

**Here's how you'll contribute**:
Informatica Technical Specialists In the project take end to end ownership of the project and you will do this by:

- Analyzing the method of transforming existing data into a format for the new environment and the loading of this data into other database structures
- Developing, implementing and optimizing stored procedures and functions using SQL
- Reviewing and recommending for improving performance of the migration process
- Making necessary changes and supporting documentation

**Skills required to contribute**:
6 to 10 years of experience in various Informatica technologies including Power Centre, DQM and MDM tools

1. In depth experience in Informatica Power Centre

2. Design and develop PLSQL processes to perform complex ETL processes.

4. Develop UNIX and Perl scripts for data auditing and automation.

5. Responsible for database builds and change requests.

7. Identify architecture gaps that can improve availability, performance and security for both productions systems and database systems and works towards resolving those issues.

8. Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Business and Operations teams to provide necessary and continuous feedback.

9. Automate all the manual steps for the database platform.

10. Deliver solutions for access management, availability, security, replication and patching.

12. Performance tuning of Informatica ETLs.
