Programme Officer- Supply Chain

**Description**:
This role is ideally suited for someone with Graduate / Masters degree in Fashion / têxtiles with experience in raw material (cotton) sourcing ideally at the spinning / ginning level. As a Programme Officer - Supply Chain you will report to the Programme Manager - South Asia as well as other members located in both India & Amsterdam. Based in India your role will majorly be providing support to the stakeholders in the Farm programme around their commitments with the farm groups and managing the programme throughout the year. You will coordinate & align your work with a lot of internal & external stakeholders focusing on building the programme. You will also be required to initiate dialogue with more stakeholders in the value chain such as spinners, CB’s etc to add value and grow the farm programme at the Organisation.

Key responsibilities

60%: Managing existing Farm Projects Support the Programme manager in building the farm programme by coordinating with stakeholders around setting up new season projects, manage the contracting and agreements, setting up new season projects. Setting up monthly calls with stakeholders & sharing relevant project information. Support the stakeholders in costing negotiations and manage the procurement agreement process with a close check on the programme timelines.

25%: Procurement Agreements, Costing Sheets, Data Mapping

Gather, Analyse & present relevant data coming in from the farm partners & the validators to share with partner brands. Support in interpreting costing sheets shared by ginners with specific knowhow around market trends on Raw cotton cost, testing cost, etc. Build new formats to support stakeholders in interpreting cost & volume conversions till CMT. Take charge of the procurement agreement process and follow up on the contracting timelines with stakeholders (both brands & farm groups). 15%: OCA advocacy with Spinners, Certification Bodies, etc

Initiate & establish new relationships with Spinners and mills to help expand the reach of the farm programme. Stay in constant touch with certification bodies and support in building partnership possibilities to support the farm programme.

What you bring

Critical
- Relevant university degree (Masters or Batchelors degree) ideally in Fashion, Textiles,

production, raw materials, etc. (Degree level can be evaluated in combination with

relevant work experience)
- Understanding of the cotton supply chain from fibre to fashion
- Experience in working with a spinner, mill or a vertical set up with a deep understanding of costings and negotiations.
- Multi-disciplined and strong internal and external communicator with confident

presentation and excel skills
- Can demonstrate strong project management skills and work collaboratively with

external & internal stakeholders
