**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain computer systems, ensuring they function efficiently.
- Perform data entry and manage databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Monitor system performance and report any issues to the IT team.
- Troubleshoot minor software or hardware problems and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Manage backups, software updates, and regular system checks.
- Support staff and students with basic IT assistance.
- Generate and print reports, memos, and other documents as required.
- Maintain logs of system activities and technical issues.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Education**: Minimum diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: At least 1-2 years of experience as a computer operator or in a similar role.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with data management tools and software.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Skills**
- Knowledge of institutional software or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience with data security and backup procedures.
- Certification in relevant IT courses is an added advantage.

**Work Environment**
