YourStory Media, the ultimate destination for anyone who wants to hear about the inspiring journey of entrepreneurs, is on the hunt for a Podcast Production Intern to join our gang for a 6-month paid internship (with the possibility of extending and converting to a full-time gig).

As a Podcast Production Intern, you'll be a critical member of our team, bringing our show to life and making sure it's a hit. We're looking for someone who's a self-starter, with a passion for podcasting, and a love for audio production.

The position is based out of Bengaluru, and you’ll need to come to the office most days (some days, you can work from home, but that would depend on the production schedule). You’ll also be required to navigate Benagluru’s famous potholes with the host for on-site recordings, when needed.

1-2 years of experience producing and editing podcasts, or being on the production team of a college/university podcast

Familiarity with different audio formats and codecs

Technical proficiency in audio editing, sound levelling, and mixing

A strong social media presence that indicates you’d be able to promote the podcast efficiently across channels

Strategic thinker with the ability to provide recommendations for expanding the podcast into new channels, such as social media or YouTube

Stay current with the latest industry best practices for subscriptions, monetisation, etc
