Optimum Utility Solutions (OUS) - a content powerhouse for leading B2B and B2C brands - facilitating end-to-end execution for brand-led magazines such as Vesture and Apparel among several others - is offering a full-time opportunity for aspiring journalists and writers.
A Mumbai-based full-service marketing and communication media agency with cross-domain expertise, OUS is focused on brand partnership and is process-driven, ensuring quick deliveries. Among our various verticals of businesses, we offer all that it takes to bring out a magazine: Content planning and execution; creating infographics and designing reader-friendly layouts; sourcing authentic, relevant and trending content; fact-checking and proofreading; and processing into print. Be it an in-house knowledge sharing platform or service-based project for the clients, we do all of it.

- The incumbent will be reporting to the Director-Print / Group Managing Editor.
- Design the contents of client publications based on the company’s publication's style, editorial policy, and publishing specifications.
- Planning and executing content for client newsletters.
- Establish the publication standards and goals.
- Research and authenticate facts, dates, and statistics.
- Evaluate and approve design proofs prior to publication production.
- Recommend stories and produce headline ideas to attract relevant target audience.
- Coordinate with designers, writers, freelance writers, sales division and clients.
- Liaising and coordinating with PR agencies and brands
- Liaising with sales / business development teams, updating them on industry trends and helping them with useful leads and opportunities.
- Supervise writers, reporters, and designers.
- Create the final pagination for magazine production.
- Meet tight deadlines and monitor budgets.
- Proofread and edit stories.

**Qualification**: BMM (Journalism), B.A. or M.A. English Literature / Mass Communication / PG in Journalism.
**Experience**:5-10 years work experience in a magazine publication house
**Salary**: From ₹40,000.00 per month
