
Procurement Executive

Procurement Strategy:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals and budgetary constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements in procurement processes.
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality goods/services.
Procurement Process:
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Review and approve purchase requisitions.
Cost Control:
- Monitor and control procurement budgets.
- Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure purchased products meet quality standards.
- Resolve quality issues with suppliers promptly.
Inventory Management:
- Optimize inventory levels to reduce carrying costs while ensuring the availability of critical items.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and obsolescence.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop procurement staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assign tasks and set performance goals for team members.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement efficiency and cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
