Laboratory Incharge

**1. Laboratory Management**:

- Oversee the functioning and organization of science laboratories.
- Maintain inventory and stock of chemicals, reagents, glassware, and other lab materials.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all materials.

**2. Equipment Maintenance**:

- Conduct regular inspections of laboratory equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Arrange for repair or replacement of faulty equipment promptly.

**3. Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory.
- Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals.
- Conduct regular safety drills and briefings for students and staff.

**4. Experiment Preparation and Assistance**:

- Assist teachers in planning and setting up experiments and demonstrations.
- Provide technical support during laboratory sessions.

**5. Documentation and Record Keeping**:

- Maintain records of lab activities, inventory, equipment usage, and safety audits.
- Keep a logbook for chemicals and equipment issued to students and staff.

**6. Training and Supervision**:

- Train students and staff on the proper handling and use of lab equipment.
- Supervise students during lab sessions to ensure safety and discipline.

**7. Budget Management**:

- Work with the school administration to develop and manage the lab budget.
- Recommend purchases based on lab requirements and curriculum needs.

**Skills and Qualifications**:Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- Master’s degree preferred for senior-level roles.

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in a laboratory setting.
- Proficient in inventory management and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience as a laboratory technician, incharge, or similar role in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of school-level science curricula and lab activities

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
