- VMC Programmer cum Operator**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Programming & Setup**:

- Create and edit **CNC programs** (using G-code/M-code) for **VMC machines** based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select appropriate **tools, cutters, and machining parameters** for different materials.
- Load and set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.
- **Machine Operation & Production**:

- Operate VMC machines to manufacture precision parts for automation equipment.
- Monitor machining processes to ensure **optimum performance** and **quality output**.
- Make adjustments to offsets, speeds, and feeds as necessary.
- **Quality Control & Inspection**:

- Inspect finished components using **measuring instruments** ( Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM).
- Ensure parts meet **dimensional accuracy and surface finish** requirements.
- Identify and rectify **programming or machining errors** to minimize wastage.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine machine **maintenance and troubleshooting** for smooth operations.
- Ensure tools and machines are in good working condition to prevent downtime.
- **Documentation & Safety Compliance**:

- Maintain detailed records of **programs, tool settings, and production logs**.
- Follow **workplace safety protocols** and ensure compliance with company policies.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: ITI/Diploma/BTech in **Mechanical Engineering**, **Tool & Die Making**, or related fields.
- **Experience**:2 to 5 years** of experience in VMC programming & operation in the **automation/SPM industry**.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in **CNC Programming**:

- Strong understanding of **GD&T, engineering drawings, and material properties**.
- Hands-on experience with **Haas CNC controls**.
- Knowledge of **cutting tools, Materials, feed rates, and machining parameters** for different metals.
