1. Patient Registration:

- Greet and assist patients and their families upon arrival at the hospital.
- Collect and accurately record patient information, including personal details

and medical history.
- Issue unique identification numbers to patients and generate admission

records.

2. Insurance Verification:

- Verify and record insurance details to ensure coverage for hospital services.
- Communicate with insurance providers to obtain pre-authorization for

procedures when necessary.
- Explain insurance-related information to patients and address any queries

they may have.

3. Admission Process:

- Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients and their families.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure prompt admission of patients to

assigned rooms or units.
- Provide necessary paperwork and guidance for obtaining necessary

signatures and consents.

4. Financial Counseling:

- Assist patients in understanding their financial responsibilities, including

copayments and deductibles.
- Provide information on available financial assistance programs and guide

5. Communication:

- Maintain effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other

departments to ensure a seamless admission process.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by patients or their

families during the admission process.

6. Data Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and paper records of patient

admissions.
- Generate reports related to admission statistics and other relevant data as

required by hospital management.

7. Customer Service:

- Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for patients and their families.
- Handle inquiries and provide information in a professional and compassionate

manner.

8. Compliance:

- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance policies and billing procedures.
