*Defines, designs and implements highly complex Backend manufacturing hardware test plans for Juniper products.

*Leads the development, implementation and evaluation of hardware reliability test strategies and methodologies for Test/debug support for Proto/Pilot/production builds.

*Develops advanced debug tools to assist with failure analysis and resolution.

*Trains factory personnel for manufacturing test and debug of products.

*Prepares and leads ongoing Reliability Test coordination (forecast, review and analysis).

*Periodically reviews manufacturing test results and makes appropriate recommendations.

*Applies expert technical knowledge to partner with sustaining engineering and testing in other locations to resolve identified issues with assigned product design verification testing (DVT) and HTR file extension reviews.

*Conducts reviews of product changes (ECO/MCOs/Deviations etc) and assessment of impact to manufacturing test process.

*Contributes to the Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) testing process.

*Identifies and acts on opportunities to improve significant processes.

*Leads cross-functional teams regarding highly complex issues, often requiring the influencing of senior and executive management.

*Strategically improves processes that go beyond product and/or project-specific tasks.
- Directs other test engineers on project activities and resolving issues

J **OB SPECIFICATIONS
*Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.

*Minimum of 10 years of in-depth experience evaluating test and designing test processes for assemblies, ideally with ASIC’s and high speed signals.

*Must have expert failure analysis skills.

*Must have in-depth understanding of network technologies and physical interfaces.

*Must have extensive experience working with UNIX-based development systems and tools.

*Must have good programming/ scripting skills.

*Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills.

*Excellent project management skills.

*Excellent teamwork and influencing skills.

*Excellent communication and interpersonal/influencing skills, including with executives.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
*Test Lab environment.

*Occasional domestic and international travel required.
