Job Description: Storekeeper

**Location**: Kota, Rajasthan
**Experience Required**: 5-6 Years

**Position Overview**:
The Storekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the inventory and stock levels at our construction site. This role involves managing the storage of materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support smooth project operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including receipts, withdrawals, and transfers of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary to prevent shortages.
- **Stock Control**:

- Ensure proper storage of materials and equipment to prevent damage and deterioration.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures.
- Label and organize stock in an orderly manner for easy identification and access.
- **Procurement Support**:

- Coordinate with the procurement team to manage purchase orders and deliveries.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Address any discrepancies or issues with suppliers promptly.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain comprehensive records of stock movements, including incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to the project manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols in the storage area.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- **Coordination**:

- Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and other team members to fulfill material requirements.
- Assist in the planning and allocation of storage space for new materials and equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
- 5-6 years of experience as a storekeeper, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹11,436.12 - ₹30,000.00 per month
