**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Operational Oversight**:
- Oversee the daily operations of the salon, ensuring services are provided efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Monitor and manage the salon environment, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Optimize scheduling for maximum productivity and customer satisfaction, including coordination of stylist and therapist appointments.
- **Team Management**:
- Supervise and support salon staff, including stylists, receptionists, and assistants, fostering a positive and motivated work culture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and staff retention strategies to build and maintain a cohesive team.
- **Customer Service Excellence**:
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, promptly addressing any customer issues or concerns to uphold the salon's reputation.
- Implement customer feedback strategies to improve salon services and experience.
- Develop customer loyalty programs and promotions to increase retention and engagement.
- **Inventory and Supplies Management**:
- Monitor and maintain inventory of salon products and supplies, ensuring adequate stock without overordering.
- Coordinate with vendors to purchase products, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Oversee retail product sales, ensuring staff is knowledgeable about product offerings and sales techniques.
- **Financial Management**:
- Prepare budgets and monitor expenses to maintain profitability, identifying opportunities for cost-saving without compromising service quality.
- Analyze sales reports and customer trends to forecast revenue and set financial targets.
- Manage cash flow, reconcile daily receipts, and handle banking responsibilities as required.
- **Marketing and Promotion**:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns and promotions to attract new clients and increase salon visibility.
- Manage the salon’s social media presence, ensuring regular engagement and alignment with brand image.
- Plan and coordinate salon events, such as open houses or special promotion days, to enhance community presence and client engagement.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the salon, spa, or beauty industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, inventory management, and use of salon management software.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Knowledge of current beauty and wellness industry trends.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and customer engagement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling challenges.
