**Position Title**: Safety Officer

**Job Location**: Nashik

**Reports To**: Project Manager

**Job Overview**: A Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations and procedures are followed at a construction site or workplace. They aim to reduce accidents and hazards, promote a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards. The Safety Officer conducts safety inspections, trains employees, and investigates accidents to implement measures to prevent future incidents.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safety Inspections**: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections at the construction site to identify potential hazards.
- **Risk Assessment**: Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- **Safety Training**: Provide safety training and induction programs for all employees to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- **Ensure Compliance**: Ensure that all safety equipment, machinery, and materials are used in compliance with local laws and safety guidelines.
- **Accident Investigations**: Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- **Emergency Procedures**: Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring all employees are aware of emergency evacuation procedures.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, accident reports, and safety meetings.
- **Monitor PPE Use**: Ensure that all personnel are using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job and safety regulations.
- **Safety Meetings**: Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to ensure ongoing awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- **Health and Safety Reports**: Prepare regular safety reports and present them to management regarding safety performance and improvements.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Occupational Safety
- Proven experience in safety management, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond swiftly to emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in safety management software and Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to hazard identification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
