They play a crucial role in preventing accidents, protecting employees, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification**:Safety Officers identify potential hazards and evaluate risks associated with various manufacturing processes and equipment.
- **Policy Development and Implementation**:They develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate identified risks.
- **Incident Investigation**:They investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- **Training and Awareness**:Safety Officers conduct safety training sessions for employees, raising awareness about safety procedures and promoting a safety-conscious culture.
- **Compliance and Auditing**:They ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and conduct regular audits to identify and address potential safety issues.
- **Record Keeping**:Safety Officers maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and other relevant data.
- **Equipment and Facility Inspections**:They conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure they meet safety standards.
- **Communication and Reporting**:They communicate safety-related information to management and employees, and prepare reports on safety performance.
- **Emergency Preparedness**:They develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Qualifications and skills
- **Educational Background**: A Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is typically required. A diploma in Industrial Safety Management can be highly beneficial.
- **Experience**: Relevant experience in a safety-related role, particularly in a manufacturing environment, is usually expected.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
