At least 7+ years of experience designing and delivering data engineering solutions and 3+ years in Databricks
- Designing and implementing highly performant data pipelines from multiple sources using Azure Databricks Data Engineering / Spark
- Integrating the end to end data pipeline to take data from source systems to target data repositories ensuring the quality and consistency of data is maintained at all times
- Strong knowledge of APIs and advanced concepts
- Evaluating the performance and applicability of multiple tools in Azure family against customer requirements
- Working experience in Agile/Iterative delivery models
- Integrate Databricks with other technologies (ETL/DQ tools, Visualization/Analytics tools)

**Primary Skills**
- Proven experience working as a Databricks data engineer
- Highly proficient in using the spark framework (python/Pyspark and/or scala)
- Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, strategies, methodologies (and newer tools like Databricks SQL warehouse, Unity Catalog)
- Direct experience of building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Apache Databricks
- Hands on experience designing and delivering solutions using Azure including ADLS, Azure Synapse, Cosmos

**Secondary Skills**
- Should have very good in analytical problem-solving
- Excellent Communication Skill
