**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of household staff, including the chef, washerman, and housekeeping/cleaning staff, to ensure all tasks are performed excellently.
- Manage the household's schedule, ensuring that meals, cleaning, laundry, and gardening are completed timely and efficiently.
- Oversee the procurement of kitchen supplies, including vegetables, oils, and other ingredients, ensuring the chef has everything needed for meal preparation.
- Ensure the house is maintained to high standards of cleanliness and organization, with everything arranged as per the family's preferences.
- Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of the garden, including scheduling watering and any necessary gardening services.
- Act as the point of contact for any external contractors or services required for home maintenance or improvement projects.
- Manage household budgets and expenses, keeping accurate records of purchases and services.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to the household or staff, ensuring a harmonious and productive environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in household management, hospitality, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of household operations and staff supervision.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently.
- Strong leadership qualities and experience managing a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact diplomatically with staff and external contacts.
- Knowledge of home maintenance, cleaning standards, and cuisine requirements is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make decisions as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the household.
- Discretion and respect for privacy.
