ABOUT THE ROLE

The Expeditor is tasked with planning, coordinating, and expediting the delivery process. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to develop problem-solving strategies, mitigate the impact of late shipments, and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all regulations.

KEY RESPOSIBILITES
- Verify shipping plans according to shipment details and destination import regulations.
- Coordinate closely with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery arrangements.
- Monitor the entire shipping process from start to finish (both inbound and outbound).
- Arrange for order verification (QC), packing, labelling, and coordination with warehouses or third parties as needed.
- Make advance arrangements for collecting shipments from suppliers and warehouse locations as per the shipping plan.
- Prepare shipping documents and obtain necessary approvals to move shipments according to given instructions.
- Maintain real-time updates and complete entries in the ERP system.
- Regularly communicate with suppliers and forwarders to confirm order details, resolve issues, and negotiate delivery schedules.
- Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and facilitate the clearance process.
- Address and resolve issues related to delayed shipments, inventory discrepancies, and transportation problems.
- Identify and quickly resolve bottlenecks or issues in the logistics process.
- Keep the system and relevant stakeholders updated on status and communication

records.
- Assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports as required by management.

SKILLS
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage stressful situations and solve problems efficiently.
- Supplier management skill
- Interpersonal skill

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
- Logistics or supply chain background/experience is mandatory.
- Buyer experience would be an added advantage.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Take responsibility and show results.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
