- Operational Support entails providing day-to-day assistance
- Documentation involves maintaining system documentation
- OS Management and system related components
- Installation, Upgrade, Migration and DR (Disaster Recovery) of iSeries
- iSeries Security and Audit
- ITIL Certified (not mandatory but if certified will be a weightage)
- Familiar with the management auxiliary storage pools (**ASP**)
- Familiar with the use of Access Client Solutions (**ACS**).
- Familiar with the use of the Hardware Management Console (**HMC**)
- Familiar with the use of Backup, Recovery & Media Services (**BRMS**).
- Work as a member of a support team and individually as well
- Coordinate with IBM Development Team for deployments
- Having experience in PMR page to create a Problem Management Record (PMR) to report a technical product issue. A PMR is one of the documents that is used to manage technical product issues that are reported to IBM.
- Knowledge of any IBM based ERP will be an added advantage
- Work closely with IBM support teams in US or Canada for troubleshooting or solving hardware/Software issues
- Work closely with internal teams in India/Canada for any issues troubleshooting (Hardware/Software)
- Ensure IBM iSystem is available for 24/7 without any disruption
- Exposure to MIMIX or QEDD or any other Replication Tool
- Exposure to Aldon OR Turnover Deployment and Release Management
- Knowledge in IBM AJS (Advanced Job Scheduler) or any other iSeries Scheduling Tool
- Good Knowledge in Database Concepts and SQL
- Basic understanding of CL Programming (Not mandatory)
- PHP programming ( Not mandatory but a plus)
- Experience in Automation and Service Improvements
- Experience Monitoring and Alerting (QMM and QSM or any similar Tool)
- Good experience in IBM I HTTP and Application Server Configurations
- Experience with External Storage on iSeries
- Handling emergency situations - 24/7 availability
- DR and Recovery and MIMIX planned and Unplanned switch experience.
- Ready to work during weekends for System Health checkup and handling Maintenance activities
- Provide Management Reports on iSeries system performance and improvement suggestions.
- Good English and Good Communication (both written and Spoken)

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
