**Job Description: Purchase Officer**

**Location**: Valsad
**Reports to**: Procurement Manager

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Procurement**:

- Source and procure raw materials, equipment, and services required for chemical plant operations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and cost-effective deals.
- Evaluate and onboard vendors following compliance standards.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with the stores and production departments to maintain optimal inventory.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Resolve disputes or delays in delivery promptly.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- **Cost Optimization**:

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Conduct regular market analysis to assess pricing trends.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience in procurement within the chemical industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.

**Job Description: Mechanical Draftsman**

**Location**: Valsad
**Reports to**: Design Engineer/Project Manager

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Drafting and Design**:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for equipment, piping, and layouts used in chemical plants.
- Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into technical drawings.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain and update technical drawings and design records.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and safety guidelines.
- **Coordination**:

- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Assist in resolving design issues during project execution.
- **Software Usage**:

- Use software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other drafting tools to create and modify designs.
- Stay updated on the latest software tools and drafting techniques.
- **Compliance and Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure all drafts adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality checks on all drawings and designs.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting Technology.
- 1-4 years of experience as a draftsman in the chemical or related industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
- Knowledge of ASME standards and piping design is a plus.
